Olympic College’s Veteran and Military Support Center celebrates its first year anniversary

Olympic College’s Vet­eran and Mil­i­tary Sup­port Cen­ter cel­e­brates its first year anniver­sary May 17th to pay trib­ute to the men and women of the armed forces. The com­mu­nity is invited to join the cel­e­bra­tion which will fea­ture an open mike ses­sion, open house, and a hot­dog lunch. The event is free for vet­er­ans and those cur­rently serv­ing in the mil­i­tary. Admis­sion for the gen­eral pub­lic is $5. Olympic Col­lege serves a com­mu­nity that has a large pop­u­la­tion of vet­er­ans and mil­i­tary per­son­nel. OC has been con­sis­tently rated as a military-friendly col­lege.
